Music Magazine: Front Cover Draft 7

Again this is my last cover hopefully. I have adress all the issues raised. I have added mainly a tag line to the magazine "Defenders of the Faith" and edited the pug in the corner.

This is my fifth draft I have corrected all the spelling errors and made the word free stand out which is important since it has to stand out on the page. That should be the last one I do.

Music Magazine: Double Page Draft 4

After doing my evaluation I realized what a mess my double page was a appalling piece of work therefore I decided to go back to the drawing board and finnish the job good and proper. It now in my opinion looks far far superior to the others and more darker to fit in with Lucidity's metal image

Update

Quick little update from Brad here. currently Im busy cracking on with my evaluation. I am getting through it. I tell you something some topics that are raised really get me aggravated with society. It should be posted by the latest of sunday evening.

Music Magazine: Magazine Cover Draft 6

This is my 6th cover draft I having looked at my research Metal Hammer, I found that they put the band that are the main bands featured above the title aswell as the main image which are the headlined band. In my Dimmu Borgir or the Ramstein example they follow this pattern.

For my fourth draft of my contents page I have changed the picture from a blurred picture to a non blurred one. I also have corrected some spelling errors and finnished of a couple of the tag lines.

Music Magazine: Magazine Cover Draft 5

This is my fifth draft of the front cover. I have cut down the band logos towards the bottom since they are unreadable. I have replaced them with a simple Cario SF font which going back to my research is what Metal Hammer Magazine does rather than having band logos. I have also removed all text bar the title from the faces of Lucidity and made the logo more central and changed the headline to a more simple headline.

Music Magazine: Convention Analysis

This is my magazine cover. The conventions I have used that there is the pug in the bottom right of the page detailing a feature that is included in the magazine. The cross head position is also awkward since it doesnt reside at the corner of the page. Insted it is at the bottom of the page which takes space off the picture. Unconventional is that the title takes pressense over the picture due to limitations of my skill with fireworks mean I do not know how to apply the heads over the top of the picture without blacking out the whole text.
